parameters of the filtered velocity gradients

ABSTRACT: Three dimensional velocity distributions
of a turbulent flow in a square duct at Rl~ 260 are measured
using holographic PIV. Employing spatial filtering of the
measured velocity fields enables calculation of the SGS stresses
and filtered velocity gradients. This paper examines the
eigenvalue structures and eigenvector alignments of SGS stresses
and tensorial parameters based on the filtered velocity gradients.
